Making a Difference Through Mentoring and College Readiness
CYC makes a significant difference in the lives of young people in grades 3 through 12 by providing
mentoring and
college readiness services. We serve as a catalyst, bringing together over 2,100 volunteers and 120 local businesses and organizations to help young people graduate from high school and successfully make the leap forward into postsecondary education or rewarding employment.
CYC works on-site in Cincinnati Public Schools to provide mentoring and tutoring opportunities that match up an adult volunteer with one student in grades 3 through 12. Our
mentoring programs include
one-to-one mentoring,
group mentoring, academic
tutoring, and more.
CYC's
College Access Program is designed to get young people thinking about college as early as middle school and to support them all the way through the twelfth grade.
